Dear Loved ones and Friends,
It's been a long time coming. A letter from me. I don't have internet at home anymore. I do have it at dialysis, but my right arm has tubes connected to it and my left arm has a blood pressure cuff hooked to it that takes my pressure about every half hour.
So, my left finger is free to type, but I'm not that good at it. After all these months it finally hit me, that I couldd type you a letter at home on my computer, then save the letter on my usb stick and then transfer it to my little computer at dialysis.
By the way, my number one son (first born) is having his birthday today. Born on the first day of summer.
God has blessed my wife and I with many wonderful children. (9 to be exact) 6 boys and 3 children. God chose to take one of them (a girl) at the age of 17 days. Through that tragedy, i forced me to focus on Him and through it all, the Holy Spririt drew me to Him and I was saved, But I digress.
The reason for this letter is to tell you how I've been doing and to thank all of you.
Although I've had my ups and downs in health, overall I am doing better then several months ago. I don't think a dialysis patient ever does consistently good, but am better than most
As you've seen I have gone to using a "scooter" wheelchair and here is why. I've found because of tremendous pain after standing or walking for more than a few minutes, that I am unable to bear the pain and am exhausted after walking for more than 10 or 15 feet. By the time I get to church or dialysis I am so tired and exhausted that I'm ready to go home. So the electric chair helps me to enjoy church and to bear dialysis. Why electric? Because I'm unable to push the ,manual wheelchair because I have no strength. Some say, "why not exercise? As my kidnay has failed, which it has, my blood vessels die. and through a chain of events, my muscles get weak....
I'm going to have to cut the explanations shorter because I need to go to dialysis pretty soon.
The last thing I want to talk about is you. You all have and are been so much to me. Through all these troublesome times you have come to my rescue. You've prayer for me. You've taken me to doctors, to dialysis. You've built ramps for my wheelchair. You have encouraged me more than I could ever have imagined. Your encouragment has caused me to encourage others because of it.
I do miss you taking me to dialysis but the Lord enable me to get a vehicle.
Anyway, I just want to thank you for everything you are and have done for me.
